Made in Bulgaria, This stock is 1" longer for USA shooters and does not require the receiver to be milled or cut. No gunsmithing required, fits any stamped receiver AK-47 and MAK-90. All you do is remove the rear stock and slip in the folding stock

Anyone got any idea where I can get that for a lot less? $220 is about 65% more than I'd ever pay on a rifle stock. I could just go down to the hardware store and pick up a brass hinge, a hack saw, a drill and some screws, and do it bubba style with an extra wood stock I have, but I'd rather have something that looks nice and works well :D

Seems like the hot item about now.

I would go for the whole deal telescopic.

I've got a telescopic on 2 of my shotguns, they're alright, but to me they're not really space savers, just sort of comfortable when you change from sitting, standing, prone, etc.

If I could fold the stock on my AK, it would be perfect :bear_w00t:

You know what, just for fun, I think I'm gonna go the bubba route and post pictures on the net :tongue_ma: Just gotta find a cheap stock I wouldn't mind ruining :rolleyes_m:

I'd pick up one of those tapco side folders, if they didn't manufacture exclusively right-side-folding stocks. It doesn't make any sense to me :confused_ma: And seeing as its cheap plastic, it probably isn't feasible to modify one to fold to the left.

I'm diggin that link on the original post, are those vertical (foregrips) rail systems any good?

Maybe you could just flip your gun over?:D

Works great on mine! I've got some spanish CR123A powered xenon bulb flash light thing on mine, along with a cheapo grip, very comfortable! Bought the upper and lower handguards on Cheaper Than Dirt, best price I could find. The vertical foregrip was on CTD for $7 also. The flashlight I bought at a local gun shop (I like being able to tell the guy to take it out of the box and show me how it works, so I don't get stuck with junk I'm too busy to mail back)

Only problem (thats not really a problem for me at least) is the front sling point is very close to the left rail mount, so if you put a flashlight where I did, a sling can't go there.

The workaround:

I made my own single point quick-detach sling though using scraps from luggage/carryon/other slings (VERY comfortable, I impressed myself :tongue_ma:) , so the flashlight being in the way of the front sling point isn't a problem for me

here's something ATI has been teasing me with for a while, still no word on where to buy (not out yet?)

The AKM74 style folding stock I posted first is what I'd really like, though.

Seems your fore grip is different than some pictured on that links,...I was concerned with interference of magazine removal on some of those under that link.

Little bit of accessorizing there Mr. Jones:D

looks good...

Ah, yes, 30 round magazines pose no problems, neither do drums. 40 round magazines work, but the grip has to be very close to the front of the foreend. Just hold down the mag release until the magazine's latch has cleared the release, and it'll come out fine.

I'm glad you like it. I need more accessories though :ridinghor:thrasher:

The only way to keep up with the Jones's at this point is to add silver to the picture.

Look it's like fine art or something.:rolleyes_m:

I need like (5) 100 round drums, filled with HE and armour piercing ammo.

Where to go?

Will $63 be OK?

At CDNN - search on AK-47 folder - $62.95

Go here, they have them for about $100 less (if they are still in stock)
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AKS229-63905-973.html

For what its worth, im not a big fan of folder stocks on AK, except maybe the underfolders. Even then, most of them dont lock up tight enough for me, so I like to stick with fixed stocks on my AK's. Just my 2 cents.

Just on a whim, decided to check k-var, who's usually a ripoff

http://www.k-var.com/shop/product.ph...cat=329&page=2

50% off sale? DEAL! :bear_w00t:

Thanks Lamentations, if you hadn't found that on Cheaper Than Dirt for me, I wouldn't have thought to check the manufacturer's site (k-var). Awesome! I'm excited :)
